Want cookies?  Want to not feel (as) guilty about it?  These cookies taste amazing and there’s no flavor compromise.  The whole wheat won’t make you feel like you’re munching on bird seed.  You won’t feel like you’re cheated.  They’re super easy to make and still moist and chewy days to follow.  Why aren’t you making these yet?

-1 ¼ cup Butter (2 1/2 Sticks)
-1 ¼ cup Brown Sugar
-1 ¼ cup Granulated Sugar
-3 Eggs
-1 teaspoon Vanilla
-2 ½ cups White Whole Wheat Flour
-1 ¼ teaspoon Baking Powder
-1 ¼ teaspoon Baking Soda
-1 ¼ teaspoon Salt
-2 ½ cups Quick Oats
-2 ½ cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips

In a medium bowl, cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth.  Beat in eggs and vanilla.

In a separate bowl, mix together dry ingredients:  flour, oats, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.  Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing and scraping the bowl frequently.  Stir in chocolate chips by hand.

Make cookies the size of a heaping teaspoonful and place on a greased baking sheet, or one lined with parchment paper.  Bake at 350F for 10 minutes.
