-1 ¼ cup Butter (2 1/2 Sticks)
-1 ¼ cup Brown Sugar
-1 ¼ cup Granulated Sugar
-1 teaspoon Vanilla
-2 ½ cups White Whole Wheat Flour
-1 ¼ teaspoon Baking Powder
-1 ¼ teaspoon Baking Soda
-1 ¼ teaspoon Salt
-2 ½ cups Quick Oats
-2 ½ cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
In a medium bowl, cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, mix together dry ingredients: flour, oats, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing and scraping the bowl frequently. Stir in chocolate chips by hand.
Make cookies the size of a heaping teaspoonful and place on a greased baking sheet, or one lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350F for 10 minutes.
