We sure do love flat iron steak. At around $7/lb it’s a steal for the flavor and tenderness. We make it at least a few times a month. Usually, there’s leftovers. There are so many good uses for leftover steak. With eggs or on a salad is my favorite. This is my favorite salad!

Ingredients:

-4 Ounces Flat Iron Steak, Grilled
-3 Cups of Chopped Romaine
-Shredded Vegetables (I used Carrots, Red Onions, Cucumbers, Red Peppers)
-Vinaigrette

Optional:
-Toasted Sesame Seeds

Chop fresh romaine lettuce. Shred veggies and place on top of salad. Heat leftover steak in microwave for thirty seconds. Thinly slice steak and place on top of vegetables. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds.

This makes a great colorful salad that will brighten up a boring lunch!
