Gosh, where have I been?  I’m sorry, loyal readers.  I got roped into shooting a wedding for a friend, and although I warned them over and over I’m not a photographer, I still did it.  I’m so glad I did because I had a blast, but I’ve never been so busy and exhausted in my entire life!

Congrats to Jim & Tiasha!  I wish you two the very best.

Smoothies are the perfect summer treat.  These help curb my cravings for milkshakes and are a much healthier choice!  Me?  Healthy?  Well, I’m trying to get better at that.  It’s not easy, but this smoothie definitely helps!

Frozen or fresh fruit works- if it’s in season, opt for the fresh choice!

Ingredients:

-1/2 Cup Strawberries
-1/4 Cup Blueberries
-1/2 of a Banana
-4-6 Ice Cubes
-1/4 Cup Plain or Vanilla Yogurt
-Splash of 2% Milk

Put all ingredients in the blender.  In this case, I used my Magic Bullet.

Blend/pulse until smooth but not watery.

Serve nice and cold.  Garnish with a strawberry!
